It’s June. We have been rather occupied with kid stuff lately. We are definitely not that great with changes. We are still trying to settle the kid about school. The kid is still saying that he doesn’t like school and that he is learning at home so it’s ok not to go to school. And truthfully I really have no reply to that. haha. I wish he could stay at home for as long as he can but I guess we have to start somewhere. We borrowed a book called the versatile reptile and i’ve just been telling him that we know it's hard to do something that you don’t want to but we are working towards making him a versatile kid, just like the reptiles. It does help sometimes. And now it is almost two months since the kid started school. There’s still challenges here and there but we do have a routine. We still very much go back to our usual routine after his half day in school. We are always trying very hard to make it as normal as possible for both him and us.
Oh just a few days ago, we celebrated our 9th year wedding anniversary. As always, we can’t believe how much time has passed. And especially with a kid it feels even more I think. we have been having day dates while the kid is in school so that’s nice, and so we did a day date again on our anniversary. It has been nice to have some time to ourselves, to be together. To just slow down and say hey, there you are :)
Just like these updates I guess. It’s a slowing down to remember all these moments.
