The past week, I really wasn’t thinking so much about doing anything. E’s got a cold and then I got it and that made me feel out of it too so all week, we were just trying to get by. I mostly just lay around doing nothing after E’s bedtime. Still have not found any sort of motivation to do anything.

Well I did think a lot about what furnitures our house need. One thing I really want to sort out soon is our storage room. It’s a bit of a mess in there. It’s hard to get into things too. Currently we are using some shelves from the previous house but those are mostly good for books and not much else(the dimensions are all wrong). So I am thinking of changing that out with something more practical for a storage room. I am mostly thinking of IKEA’s IVAR shelves. Really can’t wait to sort things out there. It is the only place now I guess that is like always in my mind. I feel like if I get to really organised well there, I will be able to store and also have access to things better.

6. new sheets!
I am pretty excited to get new sheets the past week. Mostly because of the pretty colours. I have been inspired by these colours for a bit, seeing it on Pinterest too. And it has been years since we’ve got any new sheets too. We’ve been trying to be minimal with our bedsheets and we’ve seen how nice it is to be able to just have enough sheets, two sets, just enough to rotate every week. And I have been wanting to get a new one for a while now since one of our fitted sheets, the gathers has lost its “gatherness“ haha. We decided to let go of one of the older sheets but now I am feeling like I don’t want to because they have been serving us well. So we’ll see which one one gets less use each time.
I have still not decided on what prints to put up for my gallery wall. It’s taking a while but I did decide on a wall where we will put some of the kids art. And then we did some watercolour painting on canvas and I thought hey we should have it up and I did and I thought it was nice so I did another painting by myself this time and put it up next to it. I think it fits there. I’m contemplating of making a bigger size one. Maybe that will be more fun I guess.
